Sunita Basnet – From Mrigauliya, Morang District, Koshi State, Eastern Nepal

Sunita Basnet is a 26 year old young woman from Nepal, who grew up in a small village named Mrigauliya, Morang District in Koshi State in the Eastern Nepal. She is a social worker, woman activist, voice of a Nepalese woman wanting to make a difference in her community, raising concern and helping women in her community to be educated against discrimination based on gender, class, caste and forced marriages. So, it could have a positive impact on woman, local community and Nepal in whole.
Due to her vision to make a difference in her community and in her country for her fellow country women, her studies, passion, vision, project and work has taken Sunita Basnet from a small country town/village of Mrigauliya, in the Eastern Nepal to at least eight different countries and 35 cities of the world.
