Sherpa Japan or Sherpa association of Japan is a Sherpa community organisation of Sherpa people of Nepal who are living, working and studying in Japan. The aim of the association is to promote, preserve and protect the history, language, literature, art, religion and culture of Sherpa people. It also aims to exchange daily life activities, events and communities’ news and happenings with fellow Sherpas, Japanese and other Nepalese communities. It was established on 21st of April 2002.
