Towns in the south eastern Queensland like Toowoomba, Murrys Creek, Helidon, Grantham, Gatton, Ipswich and Brisbane the state capital itself was hit by flash flood leaving people dead and many homeless as their homes were washed away by the powerful floods.
Nepalese should contact their friends and families living in Brisbane and southern Queensland region as the flood is expected to peak more tomorrow. Thirty people believed to be dead and 78 missing in the southern Queensland flash flood.
