    Hi Lisa,

    Thanks for visiting my blogsite.

I am not sure about how thing works regarding you being allowed to practice in Nepal? As I am not sure as how many Chiropractic practitioner are there in Nepal? And not everyone will be aware of this profession. I think you might have to introduce yourself as a doctor who treats back pain, neck pain, leg pain etc. It may sound strange but true…

I only can recommend you to the following:

    You could contact:
    Health Ministry:
    http://www.mohp.gov.np/english/home/index.php

    Nepal Medical Council:
    http://www.nmc.org.np/

Association of medical doctors of Nepal (Asia) – Could be helpful
    http://www.amda.org.np/

Why not try and contact Nepalese Consulate in Auckland and then Embassy in Australia?
    Nepalese Embassy Canberra, Australia:
Website: http://www.necan.gov.np/ (BUT it could be DOWN with bandwidth limit exceeded – I know it’s bad ? )
So I would say try the email: info@necan.gov.np

Maybe I don’t know but maybe you could be allowed to do your volunteer work if you provide your credentials like your New Zealand cairopractinor license and you are also a lecture in NZ? And it is also only for 10 days. But again good to confirm before you do so.

Hope this helps, sorry this is all the info I can provide

    Enjoy your visit to Nepal
    Thanks

    Hi,

I’m writing to request information or advise on rule/policies/licensure for Chiropractic Care in Nepal. I am a licensed chiropractor here in Auckland and currently am a full time lecturer at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic.

I am going with a group of people on a holiday for 10 days and I would like to bring my chiropractic table to provide care for all those who are with me and participating. I will NOT be charging for care or setting up a practice. At the same time, I would like to donate my time and also provide chiropractic care to the people in Nepal where I’ll be staying in Kathmandu.

Can you please advise me on how I may find information to assist me in this regard. Thank you for your time.

    Sincerely,

    Dr. Lisa Baptista
    Chiropractor
