Nepalese Seattle Society (NSS) is a not for profit, non-political and secular organisation that began in Seattle, Washington on the 14th of March 1999. Nepalese Seattle Society was officially registered in the State of Washington on the 6th of October 2000
The main goals of the organisation is to promote and preserve Nepalese culture, traditions and heritage, strengthen mutual cooperation among the Nepalese and with the friends of Nepal. NSS has been organising various Nepalese cultural programs and activities during Nepali New Year and other festive seasons. It also involves itself in fund raising, picnic gathering and sport activities. NSS takes part in many other events organised by local international communities around Seattle and within the State of Washington.
NSS heartily welcomes all Nepalese and friends of Nepal to join NSS General Membership.
