NRN – Thailand

Thailand is an Asian country in the south east Asia. It has failry good relation with Nepal. It’s capital Bangkok is a stop over for many international flights, including Nepalese Airlines. Country close to Nepal, with about only 4-5 hours flight making it popular for Nepalese to work, study or live. There a about 2,500 Non-Resident Nepalese and about 100,000 people of Nepalese origin working, studying or visiting Thailand. It was not very long that these Nepalese held their first meeting to form Non-Nepalese Resident community in Thailand. Their first meeting to form the community was on the 24th of October 2004, at the Asian Institute of Technology.
NRN Thailand was established on the month of February 2005, during the democracy day celebration in Nepalese Embassy, Bangkok.
