Nepali Society in Ås (NEPSA) Norway is an organisation of Nepalese students studying at Norwegian Univeristy of Life Science (UMB) and Nepalese living in Ås. The organisation was established in year 2004 at UMB (former Agricultural Univerisyt of Norway, NLH). The main purpose of this organisation was to develop close relations, networking and contact among the Nepalese students and residents living in Ås, Norway.
NEPSA is a non-profit and non-political organisation, that values diverse culture and religion. The aim of the organisation is to create friendly environment among the Nepalese and other international students including local (Norwegian) students, and share their experience and cultural diversities and traditions in a peaceful accord.
It also aims to help fellow Nepalese living in Ås, that their time and stay in Ås will be a happy and successful one. Beside, connecting fellow Nepalese living in Ås and other Nepalese socities and groups within Norway. it also aims to synchronize other international Nepalese socities, communities and organisations with similar interest and objectives outside Norway.
