Non Resident Nepalese Association – South Africa (NRNA-SA) is a small group or Nepalese community living in South Africa since 1980s. First ever convention of the Nepalese living in South Africa was held on the 12th of April 2009 in the coastal city of East London, South Africa. About 90 Nepalese were present for the first ever NRNA-SA’s convention in the Africa continent. During the convention, Auwtar Gurung was elected as the President while Dr Hari Gopal Vaidya and Dr Amar Deuja were elected as the Vice Presidents of NRNA-SA. --- Nepalese in South Africa!
